Mitchell, S.D. – The Tiger-of-the-Week goes to women’s soccer midfielder, Annika Enevoldsen. Enevoldsen played a crucial role in the Tigers 2-1 win over Briar Cliff. Annika assisted on both goals scored setting up Hallie Stone and Sara Ewert for both of their first career goals with perfectly placed passes.
The sophomore out of Rapid City, S.D. is putting together quite the sophomore season with her two goals and now two assists. Enevoldsen scored her first collegiate goal in the 2-1 win over Martin Luther College back on 9/6/23. She followed that up with another shot that found the back of the net against Concordia Moorhead on 9/18/23. Annika was on the attack and threatening all day against the Flames Sunday, September 24 with her five total shots, but unfortunately none found the back of the net.
The Tigers and Enevoldsen return to action Wednesday, September 27 when they face off against Dordt at 7:15 p.m.
