Lamer had a great day at the Dennis Young Classic in Storm Lake, Iowa. Over the weekend, she began with the Pentathlon event, scoring 3,267 points setting a school record.
She also competed in long jump, coming in first place with a jump of 17-11.5 feet, tying a school record and provisionally qualifying for the NAIA National Indoor Meet.
The Hartford, S.D., native continued the day with a first-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.37 seconds. She grabbed another first-place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:32.93. Lamer finished the day off in second place in the high jump with a mark of 4-9.75.
The Tigers will be back in action in the DWU Alumni Open on Saturday at the DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Complex in Mitchell, S.D.
