Russell Pick

 The Dakota Wesleyan University Tiger Athlete of the Week is Russell Pick, it was announced by the DWU athletic department Monday.

 Pick competed at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Spring Preview Tournament on April 11 and 12 at the Woodland Hills Golf Club in Eagle, Neb. The Kimball, S.D., native carded a 74 in the first round and a 68 in the second round as he finished the tournament with a total of 142.

 On the second hole, the senior golfer sank a shot from 226 yards away, good for a double eagle on the hole. The tournament win was the first collegiate victory of Pick.

 Pick and the DWU men’s golf team compete at the GPAC Spring Qualifier on April 22-24 at the Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, Neb.
