Tramane Moore

 The Dakota Wesleyan University Tiger Athlete of the Week is Tramane Moore, it was announced by the DWU athletic department Wednesday.

 Moore and Co., took on Hastings College on Saturday. In the first game against the Broncos, he finished two-for-four with two RBIs in the 7-4 victory. The next game, Moore finished 1-for-5 with an RBI as the Tigers fell, 2-1.

 The next day, the Tigers took on Doane University in Crete, Neb. The 6-foot catcher finished the first game 1-for-3 with a double. During the next game, Moore came out of the gates swinging as he went 4-for-5 with a run and an RBI. However, the hot swinging was not enough as DWU lost, 12-11.

 Moore currently leads the team with a batting average of .424 and in stolen bases with four on the season.

 The Tigers host Briar Cliff University at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Drake Field in Mitchell, S.D., in their home opener.
