NAIA releases brackets and times for national tournament

MITCHELL, S.D. – Both the DWU men's and women's basketball teams found out on Wednesday night at the Moose Lodge in Mitchell, their next opponent in the NAIA Division II National Tournament.
The No. 8 DWU women (26-6) will take on Milligan College of Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Tyson Event Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The Tigers drew the last No. 2-seed of the Naismith Bracket in the 32 team tournament. The other seven teams in the bracket include: No. 1-seed St. Francis, No. 3 Eastern Oregon, No. 4 Indiana Tech, No. 5 Tabor (Kan.), No. 6 Dickinson State (N.D.), No. 7 Milligan (Tenn.) and No. 8 UC Merced (Calif.).
Milligan (23-9) is a selective Christian liberal arts college located near downtown Johnson City, Tenn. The Buffaloes compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference and boast the conference and defensive player of the year.
The DWU men finished No. 16 in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll and drew the at-large No. 4 bid, matching up with No. 19 College of Idaho (23-9) of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. Two seasons ago, the Tigers defeated C of I in the NAIA Division II National Tournament Quarterfinal game 88-80. The DWU men were also placed in the Naismith Bracket that includes: No. 1-seed Union (Ky.), No. 2 Warner (Fla.), No. 3 Trinity International (Ill.), No. 6 College of the Ozarks (Mo.), No. 7 Taylor (Ind.) and No. 8 Aquinas (Mich.).
Game time is set for 9:45 p.m. Wednesday at Keeter Gymnasium on the campus of the College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Mo.
