Dordt College '17

Hopkins joins the Tiger baseball coaching staff from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Hopkins, a native of Menifee, Calif., was a GPAC Second Team member as a senior, while helping his team to the GPAC Tournament. As a senior, Hopkins owned a 6-4 record with a 2.32 ERA, making him the all-time strikeout leader in a season and career at Dordt. He is also in the Dordt record book for second-most saves in a season and career. Hopkins was also named GPAC Honorable Mention as a junior.

 A graduate of Paloma Valley High School, Hopkins will assist head coach John Greicar in recruiting efforts and gameday management. He received a Master's degree in educational policy and administration from DWU in 2019.
