Dakota Wesleyan honors four members into Athletic Hall of Fame

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University athletic department will be inducting Gerald Neumann (’68), Chris Determan (’96), Danielle Bellet Evenson (’12) and Brady Wiebe (’11) into the DWU Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2018 tomorrow on the DWU campus.

MITCHELL, S.D. – Senior Tre Hobbs (Detroit, Mich.) will be hard at work over the holiday break, competing in four different senior bowl games in Florida and South Carolina.

Turner named GPAC Offensive Player of the Year; Adams, Wietzema, Rozeboom and Rork garner All-GPAC First Team accolades

MITCHELL, S.D. – History has been made as Dakota Wesleyan University football senior quarterback Dillon Turner was named Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive year it was announced by the conference on Tuesday. This marks the first time in GPAC football history that a player has won the award outright in back-to-back seasons. Craig Fobbe of Morningside College won the GPAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 2004, while winning the award outright in 2005.

MITCHELL, S.D. – Offense took center stage as the Dakota Wesleyan University football team squared off against Great Plains Athletic Conference foe, Dordt College on Senior Day. DWU defeated the Defenders, 62-52 while both offenses combined for over 1,300 total yards and 114 points Saturday at Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell.

SEWARD, Neb. – Averaging more than 500 yards of offense a game, the Dakota Wesleyan University football team was hoping to flex its offensive muscles on Saturday in Great Plains Athletic Conference action. However, Concordia University halted the Tiger offense in Seward, Neb., defeating DWU 38-16.
