DWU men land two NAIA Scholar Athletes
MITCHELL, S.D. –Two members of the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s basketball team were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, it was announced by the NAIA on Monday.

Nate Stadem (Baltic, S.D.) and Cole Casper (Lake Preston, S.D.) were recipients for the first time in their careers.
In order to be nominated for this award, each needed to maintain a minimum of 3.5 grade point average on a scale of 4.0 while being of junior academic status.
Each were members of the JV team their freshman year and saw varsity playing time throughout their careers. They played a vital role for the Tigers as they pushed their teammates during practice and helped them reach a third-straight NAIA postseason tournament berth.
