General: The DWU men’s basketball team welcomes McCloud for the 2017-2018 season from Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D. He set the single game rebound record for BHSU in the Division II era with 16 rebounds.

High School: Was a two-year starter … averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per game his senior season … team captain and team MVP his senior year … Argus Leader First Five member … First Team All-State and All-Tournament Team … South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year nominee … South Dakota Mr. Basketball finalist … participated in the South Dakota Three Class Shootout … won two district championships … shot 44 percent from 3-point range his junior season.

Personal: Born Aug. 1, 1997 … son of John and Mary McCloud … a sports management major.
