Tigers’ top team finishes sixth, B team fourth at Siouxland

DWU's top team finished with a two-round total of 604 after a 311 on the second day. The team carded a 293 in the first round. The B squad for the Tigers placed higher than the top team after carding a 599 over two days. Northwestern College, which hosted the first round, won the event by 21 strokes with a 567.
The Tigers were led by senior Anthony Husher (Winner, S.D.) with a two-round score of 146 to finish in a tie for eighth place. Husher shot a 71 in round one and a 75 in round two.
Junior Thomas Hogg (Aberdeen, S.D.) and senior Tyler Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) finished tied for 12th place with a two-round 147. Northwestern's Justin Kraft and Dordt's Tony Kallevig tied for first after shooting a 140.
The Tigers return to Landsmeer to compete in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Qualifier No. 1 on Sept. 18 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
