Tiger men finish second at Doane Spring Invite

CRETE, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's golf team competed at the Doane Spring Invitational Saturday in Crete, Neb.

 As a team, DWU brought home second place out of 11 teams. Freshman Connor Preston (Aberdeen, S.D.) finished fourth with a total score of 147.

 Tom Hogg (Aberdeen, S.D.) tied for fifth after shooting 148, while Michael Whitney (Brandon, S.D.) took 25^th with a score of 158.

 Russell Pick (Kimball, S.D.) and Cal Wiese (Fedora, S.D.) tied for 27^th. Elliot Banks (East Sussex, England) finished tied for 47^th while Jayden Engels (Watertown, S.D.) shot 170, good for 50^th.

 The Tigers are back in action in the Briar Cliff Spring Invitational on Tuesday at the Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa.
