Preston takes third, DWU men’s golf competes at Bethel Spring Invite

HESSTON, Kan. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's golf team headed south for the Bethel Spring Invitational as they brought home a sixth-place finish Saturday and Sunday at the Hesston Golf Park in Hesston, Kan.

 Connor Preston (Aberdeen, S.D.) finished the tournament in third place after carding a two-day total of 144 to lead the way for DWU. Russell Pick (Kimball, S.D.) took seventh after recording a 147 total for the tournament.

 Tying for 26^th place was Justice Morrison (Norris, S.D.) who finished with a total of 154, followed by Cade Carpenter (Mitchell, S.D.) who tied for 55^th. Jayden Engels (Watertown, S.D.) tied for 68^th after he finished with a score of 169.

 DWU competes next at the Morningside Invite on April 18 and 19 at the Whispering Creek Golf Course and Green Valley Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa.
