Men’s golf finishes season at GPAC Championships
Eagle, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s golf team took eighth as a team at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championships Sunday through Tuesday at the Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, Neb.

In his final round for the Tigers, Russell Pick (Kimball, S.D.) tied for fifth. He finished with a 72 on Sunday, while carding a 73 in the final two rounds for a total of 291.
Connor Preston (Aberdeen, S.D.) tied for 17th place after finishing with a total of 301 for the week. Cade Carpenter (Mitchell, S.D.) came in 35th place after tallying a total of 316 for the week.
Alec Johnson (Tyndall, S.D.) finished with a 318, good for 37th, while Justice Morrison (Norris, S.D.) came in 38th place with a total of 328.
DWU graduates two seniors in Pick and Ryker Krutzfeldt (Mitchell, S.D.), but will return eight golfers and welcome six newcomers to the team for next season.
