DWU Men’s Soccer Wins 3rd Straight

OMAHA, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's soccer continued its strong play of late with a 3-0 win over Grace University Wednesday, Sept. 17 in Omaha, Neb.

DWU outshot Grace 19-1, while putting seven shots on net and allowing none. Junior goalkeeper Alex Nelson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) was not forced to make a save in his third straight shutout for the Tigers. Nelson has not allowed a goal in over 280 minutes of play.

The victory marks the third straight for the Tigers, who head into Great Plains Athletic Conference play on a roll.

The Tigers (3-3) play Nebraska Wesleyan University at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell, S.D.
