Men’s soccer drops home match to Clarke
MITCHELL, S.D. – In the home opener for the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s soccer team, Clarke University proved to be too much, defeating DWU 4-0 in a non-conference matchup Thursday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell.

MITCHELL, S.D. – In the home opener for the Dakota Wesleyan University men's soccer team, Clarke University proved to be too much, defeating DWU 4-0 in a non-conference matchup Thursday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell.
The Pride (2-0) jumped on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 15th minute. Clarke notched the lone goal of the first half to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Clarke added a second goal in the opening minutes of the second half to take a 2-0 lead. The Pride were able to add two more goals to down the Tigers (0-2) Thursday night.
Oscar Molina (Gillette, Wyo.) tallied two shots as DWU finished with six shots on the game compared to 13 shots by the Warriors. Khang Nguyen (San Jose, Calif.) notched five saves for the Tigers.
The Tigers take on Bethany College at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex in Mitchell.
