Schlicht takes fourth, Tigers compete at Sioux City Relays

Nathan Bader, Dakota Bodden (Tabor, S.D.), Anthony Fontenot (Stephan, S.D.) and Jon Harmening (Jackson, Minn.) took fifth in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 44.00. In the 4x400-meter relay, Alex Cottrill (Wichita, Kan.), Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.), Fontenot and Harmening brought home ninth in 3:26.43.
Individually, Schlicht placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 56.31. Jared Rabenberg (Britton, S.D.) snagged fifth in the triple jump after a leap of 42-feet, two and one-quarter inches while Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.) took fifth in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 10:04.73.
On the women's side, Kaylynn Anziano (Rapid City, S.D.), Kamber Lamer (Harford, S.D.), Meghan Travis (Minneota, Minn.) and Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D.) placed seventh in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 50.89. Macey Claussen (Howard, S.D.), Aubrey Rabenberg (Platte, S.D.), Anziano and Lamer took ninth in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:19.45.
Kristen Longville (Lake Preston, S.D.) tallied a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 34-feet, nine and a half-inches. Andrea Sokolowski finished sixth in the high jump after a jump of five-feet, one-quarter inch and Mikaela Stofferahn (Dell Rapids, S.D.) added a 10th-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 39-feet, three and three-quarter inches.
The Tigers are back in action in the Mount Marty Twilight on Wednesday in Yankton, S.D.
