General: Looks to continue his success from his freshman season … looks to compete in the medium-distance events.

Freshman (2016-17): Tallied a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 56.72 at the SMSU Mustang Open … at the DWU Alumni Open, Schlicht took third in the 600-meter run in 1:24.86 … took fifth at the Dennis Young Classic in the 4x400-meter relay. 

 High School: In cross country Schlicht placed in the top-twenty four times at the Class ‘B’ State Meet … had a seventh-place finish in his senior season, fifth place as a junior, 10th as a sophomore and 20th as a freshman at the state meet … named to the All-State Cross Country Team three times … best time on a 5k course in his four seasons of cross country was 17:01 ... in his junior season he placed fourth at the state meet in the 300-meter hurdles with his best time of 41.3 … had a third-place finish at the state meet in the 800-meter run as a junior with his best time of 2:02 … in the 1,600-meter run he had a personal-best, 4:42 and placed fifth at the state meet in his junior season … also participated in top-notch basketball and football programs for the Blackhawks … was the valedictorian, senior class president, student council president, National Honor Society President and a member of the quiz bowl. 
 
  Personal: Born April, 22,1997 … son of Shelly Schlicht … an accounting major.
