Panec, Rogers pace DWU cross country at Briar Cliff Invite

NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – Senior Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.) brought home a 10^th-place finish and McKenna Rogers finished in 28^th-place for the Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams at the Briar Cliff Invite Saturday in North Sioux City, S.D.

 Panec ran his way to a top-10 finish with a time of 26:27. Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.) took 29^th-place in 27:17, while Bryce Blank (Rapid City, S.D.) finished in 69^th-place and Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.) took 85^th.

 Rogers ran her way to a top-30 finish with a time of 20:30. Kelsie King (Mission Viejo, Calif.) took 89^th and freshman Savannah Schmidt (Plankinton, S.D.) finished in 108^th.

 Both teams are back in action at the Mount Marty Invite on Oct. 21 in Yankton, S.D.
