DWU races at Briar Cliff Invitational
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s and women’s cross-country teams competed a little closer to home as they raced at the Briar Cliff Invitational on Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa.

Leading the men's side was Wyatt Baldauf (Seneca, Ill.) who finished with a time of 27:35 minutes. Justin Sorensen (Vermillion, S.D.) cross the finish line in 28:16, while Devin Rihanek (Plankinton, S.D.) was not far behind with a time of 28:28.
Layne Lewis (Plankinton, S.D.) finished in 29:15 and Zach Fieber (Goodwin, S.D.) finished the race in 30:28.
On the women's side, Mckenna Rogers (Saint Michael, Minn.) tallied a time of 21:28, as Samantha Shoultz (Huron, S.D.) came in 21:50. Annika Vermeulen (Mitchell, S.D.) finished in 22:04, while Patience Nesheim (Ethan, S.D.) added a time of 22:10.
Coming up after Nesheim was Ashley Pruss (Tea, S.D.) who came in 23:05 and Macey Bohl (Garretson, S.D.) finished in 23:37.
The Tigers compete next at the Mt. Mercy Invite on Oct. 26 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
