Christensen inks Kraus for 2018-19 season
MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University women’s head basketball coach Jason Christensen provided depth at the point guard position for the 2018-19 season with the addition of Bailey Kraus.

The Atkinson, Neb., native signs with the DWU Tigers after starting for West Holt Public Schools since her freshman season.
During her junior year, Kraus averaged 11.9 points, 3.6 assists and 3.6 steals per game. She was named All-Conference First Team, Omaha World Herald All-State Honorable Mention, Lincoln Journal Star All-State Honorable Mention, Holt County Independent All-Area First Team and Norfolk Daily News All-Area Second Team.
Her sophomore season saw similar results as she averaged 13.1 points, 2.4 assists and 4.1 steals per game. For her efforts, Kraus was named All-Conference First Team, Omaha World Herald All-State Honorable Mention, Lincoln Journal Star All-State Honorable Mention and Holt County Independent All-Area First Team.
In her freshman year she averaged 13.8 points, two assists and 3.8 steals per game. She played AAU basketball for the NEN Xtreme and the Bartlett Basketball Academy.
Kraus also participated in volleyball, track and weightlifting. She was named Female Lifter of the Year and set three school records.
She is also a member of the National Honor Society, FFA and 4-H.
