MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball senior Kynedi Cheeseman (Alexandria, S.D.) was named to the 2020 Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA NAIA All-American list, it was announced by the WBCA on Monday.

Tigers finish season with victory at national tournament
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Unknowingly, in their final game of the season, the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s basketball team finished the season with a win. DWU defeated Indiana Wesleyan University, 78-67 in the opening round of the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championships Thursday at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Sarah Carr (Huron, S.D.) and Kynedi Cheeseman (Alexandria, S.D.) were each tabbed to the All-GPAC First Team for the second consecutive year, while Makaela Karst (Plankinton, S.D.) was honored to the All-GPAC Second Team for the first time in her career.
