Women’s golf takes second place at Midland Fall Invite
FREMONT, Neb. – In their second meet of the 2018-19 season, the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team finished with an impressive outing with a second-place finish at the Midland Fall Invite on Sunday and Monday in Fremont, Neb.

The Tigers finished with a total of 352, six strokes behind Mount Marty College who won the invite.
Leading the way for DWU was freshman Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) who carded an 84 as she tied for eighth place. Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) came in 11th after she finished with an 88.
Niki Nelson (Platte, S.D.) tallied an 89 on the day as she tied for 12th, while Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) carded a 91 and tied for 17th. Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) finished tied for 21st after notching a 93.
The women's golf team returns to the course at Briar Cliff University on Sept. 14 and 15 at the Two Rivers Golf Course in North Sioux City, S.D.
