Tigers compete at Lila Frommelt Fall Classic
NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team took fifth place at the Lila Frommelt Fall Classic on Friday and Saturday at the Two Rivers Golf Club in North Sioux City, S.D., hosted by Briar Cliff University.

Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) led the DWU golfers as she carded an 81 as she tied for 15th place. Not far behind was Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) who finished with an 82 tied for 18th, while Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) totaled an 83 as she tied for 22nd.
Niki Nelson (Platte, S.D.) and Lily Miner (Mobridge, S.D.) tied for 26th with an 84, as Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) recorded an 85 on the day.
Delilah Brinker (Dimock, S.D.) tied for 69th as she finished with a 100, while Cassidy Gosmire (Canova, S.D.) totaled a 101 as she tied for 71st.
The women's golf team will compete next at the Platteview Golf Course in Bellevue, Neb., on Sept. 24 and 25.
