Burr tied for first as Tigers sit in third at GPAC Championships

Freshman Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) checks in tied for first place after carding a 76 on the first day and a 74 on the second day for a total of 150 and six over par for the tournament. Niki Nelson (Platte, S.D.) shot a 166 and is currently sitting in 16th place.
Tied for 21st is Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) who tallied a two-day total of 170 after notching an 87 on the first day and an 83 on the second day. Not far behind is Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) who is tied for 26th after shooting an 88 and an 84 for a total of 172. Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) is tied for 31st place after a two-day total of 174.
Morningside College currently has the lead with a total of 605, while the University of Jamestown sits in second shooting 655. The Tigers tally a total score of 658, three strokes behind the Jimmies. The next two rounds of the GPAC championships will be April 26th and 27th at the York Country Club in York, Neb.
The next meet for the Tiger women golf team is at the Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb., hosted by Morningside College.
