Tigers compete against NCAA Division-II SMSU

MARSHALL, Minn. – The Dakota Wesleyan University wrestling team squared off against Southwest Minnesota State University and fell, 54-0 Wednesday in Marshall, Minn.

 In the first match, Seth Caro (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) fell to Taylor Curtis by major decision, 19-7. Marcus Urban (Plankinton, S.D.) competed next for the Tigers and dropped his match by major decision, 13-5.

 Later in the dual, Nick Woslum (Palmdale, Calif.) competed in the 197-pound weight class and lost in the second period by fall. Capping off the night was Robert McCardle (Mitchell, S.D.) as he dropped his match against Andrew Petersen by major decision, 11-3.

 The Tigers compete at the GPAC Duals at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Fremont, Neb.
