General: The 5-foot-9 forward will stay right at home as she joins DWU from Mitchell, S.D. where she played for Mitchell High School for six years.

High School: Wahlen started the past three season for the Kernels as she led her team to a 4-9-1 record her senior season … she scored two goals in her final year, and was named the JV team captain … named student of the week and a member of the Honor Roll and a National Honor Society Nominee … also participated in basketball and powerlifting for one year.

Personal: Born Aug. 8, 1998 … daughter of Cort Wahlen and Judy Wahlen … plans to major in nursing.
