Johnson inks with DWU women’s soccer
MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University head women’s soccer coach Clayson Glasgow is pleased to announce the addition of Kassidy Johnson of Hartford, S.D., it was announced Thursday.
MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University head women's soccer coach Clayson Glasgow is pleased to announce the addition of Kassidy Johnson of Hartford, S.D., it was announced Thursday.
"Without a doubt, Kassidy is a great addition to Dakota Wesleyan University and our soccer program," Glasgow said. She brings a wealth of championship soccer experience plus her ability to take on players and provide quality service in the box. We are truly excited."
A two-year letterwinner in soccer, Johnson led her West Central High School soccer team in assists with 13 and a 12-1 record. She also led her team to a state championships in 2016 and 2017, including a 9-1-3 record her junior year. She was named South Dakota Coaches' Association All-State First Team for her efforts on the pitch. Aside from soccer, she also lettered in cross country, track and basketball and is a member of the honor roll. She will also participate in track and field for the Tigers.
"I chose DWU because how personable the atmosphere and learning environment is," Johnson added. "I am also very excited to continue my soccer and track career as a Tiger."
Johnson plans to major in elementary education at DWU.
