In his eighth season with the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s soccer team, Glasgow aims to continue the momentum in 2021 following a return visit to the Great Plains Athletic Conference playoffs a season ago.

During the 2020 season, Dakota Wesleyan qualified for the Great Plains Athletic Conference playoffs for the first time since 2014 and the second time under Glasgow’s direction. After a 9-8 finish, a career best five Tigers were honored as All-GPAC performers.

Senior forward Alyssa Weidler and junior midfielder Jozy Bardsley received All-GPAC Fisrt Team accolades. Weidler, who finished her DWU career as a two-time All-GPAC First Team selection, ended her senior campaign as the all-time leader in program history in career goals scored with 40 goals in 61 career games.

After a 5-10-1 season in 2019, two players were named to the All-GPAC Team as Jozy Bardsley was named to the Second Team and Jocelyn Behm was tabbed to the Honorable Mention Team.

Following the 2018 season and for the first time since 2014, Glasgow landed an athlete on the All-GPAC First Team as Alyssa Weidler was honored with the accolade. Weidler was the ninth player in program history to be named to the All-GPAC First Team. Stephanie Banuelos and Brooke Forsman were tabbed to the All-GPAC Honorable Mention Team. Last season, the Tigers fielded seven freshmen and three sophomores, while graduating five seniors as they finished with a 2-14-1 record overall. DWU defeated Mount Marty College, 6-0, with freshman Alyssa Weidler scoring a hat trick for the first win of the season.

In 2014, Glasgow's Tigers finished 9-10-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the GPAC. DWU finished sixth in the GPAC regular season and upset Midland in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament.

The Tigers were led in 2014 by senior forward Megan Johnson who set a DWU record with 23 goals in a season despite missing a large portion of the schedule due to an injury. Johnson was named GPAC Player-of-the-Week three times and earned an NAIA National Player-of-the-Week honor. She also was named to the All-GPAC First Team. Senior forward Thara Ali Said was named an All-GPAC Honorable Mention after scoring 13 goals in 2014.

Ali Said was joined by senior Kylie Keiser as Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athletes in 2014 and the team earned its sixth National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 school year.
