Bio

General: Will help lead the Tigers in the throwing events, jumping events and 4x100-meter relay in her third season with DWU … also competes on the women’s basketball team.

Sophomore (2016-17): Took first in the 4x100-meter relay at the Dordt Last Chance Meet and the Mount Marty Outdoor Invitational … tallied a third-place finish in the high jump at the Mount Marty Outdoor Invitational.

Freshman (2016): Was a top-five performer in many categories during her freshman year as a Tiger ... had a first-place finish at the Red Raider Open in the shot put with a throw of 36-feet 11-inches ... finished in second place in the high jump at the Dennis Young Invite with a leap of 4-feet 11-inches ... finished the year with a fourth-place finish at the 2016 GPAC Championships in the shot put with a toss of 35-feet and seven and one-quarter inches.

High School: Earned five-varsity letters for the Vikings track team … also competed in basketball and cross country for Minneota … on the ‘A’ honor roll throughout high school … named to the MGBCA Academic All-State.

Personal: Born on Jan. 18, 1997 … daughter of Michael and Mary Travis … a biochemistry major.
