Hutchinson, Kan. – RV Dakota Wesleyan volleyball collected their first two wins of the season as they defeated both Tabor and Bethany in three sets to none. The Tigers notched a day one hitting percentage of .251.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Match 1:
- Dakota Wesleyan kicks off the 2021 season with an opening match win over Tabor
- The Tigers tallied 40 kills in the three sets with a hitting percentage of .260
- With 18 blocks, DWU kept the Bluejays attack grounded: only allowing them a hitting percentage of .067
- Dakota Wesleyan recorded their best attack percentage of .400 in the third set of the match, notching 15 kills and only three errors
- Sophomore middle blocker Ady Dwight and senior outside hitter Jadie Delange led the Tigers with ten kills each
- Junior setter Madeline Else tabbed 33 assists in the match against Tabor
Match 2
- The Tigers rolled past Bethany on their way to their second win of the day
- As a team, DWU tallied 41 kills with a .280 hitting percentage
- Dwight led the Tigers in blocks with three in the match overall the team tallied eight total blocks
- Junior defensive specialist Hanna Reiff collected 13 digs
