Hutchinson, Kan. – RV Dakota Wesleyan volleyball continues their dominance on day two of the KCAC Fall Fling. The Tigers improve to 4-0 on the season for their third best start to a season in the last four years.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Match 1:

  • In-game one, Dakota Wesleyans hitting percentage was .310 through the three sets, with their best hitting percentage of .433 coming in the second
  • The Tigers were able to keep the Spiers hitting percentage to .109 while recording 17 total blocks
  • Ady Dwight led DWU in the blocking category with seven assisted blocks, while Mariah Gloe tallied the lone single block
  • The Tigers notched 47 digs and eight serve aces 

Match 2

  • The weekend theme stayed the same as the Tigers took care of business in three sets against Friends
  • DWU did not hit as well in this match with only a .191 hitting percentage
  • Dakota Wesleyan kept Fiends hitting percentage to only .071
  • The Tigers tallied 38 total kills as Dwight led the team with 13, followed by Gloe with ten
  • DWU recorded 50 digs, two solo blocks, and ten assisted blocks in the match
