TIGERS HEAD NORTH TO TAKE ON SAINTS

Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan Volleyball takes on the Saints of Presentation College tomorrow. Both junior varsity and the varsity teams will face the Saints. Junior varsity beginning at 6 p.m., and at 7:30 p.m. the varsity match is set to start.
ABOUT THE TIGERS
- The Tigers enter the match against PC 4-0 on the season after sweeping their four games in Kansas
- DWU is averaging 13.25 kills per set, 11.92 assists per set, and 2.42 bocks per set
- Mariah Gloe leads the team in kills, notching 28 of the teams' 159 total kills
- Ady Dwight has been a part of 13 blocks through four games, placing her on top of the Tigers leader board
- Dakota Wesleyan is hitting the ball at .258 percent while averaging 2 service aces per set
ABOUT THE SAINTS
- Presentation College will kick off the 2021-22 season against DWU
- The Saints hold eight seniors and four juniors on their roster for the 2021-22 campaign
- PC returns their second-best hitter from last season with Constence Rollins; last year she tallied 168 total kills in 24 matches
- The Saints are led by 14-year head coach Chelsey Albrecht
LAST MEETING
- Under Coach Wilber, the Tigers are 10-4 against the Saints dating back to the 2015-16 season
- DWU took both matches last year, 3-1 on the road and 3-0 at home
- On the Road, Gloe and Dwight led the team with 16 and 14 kills, respectively
- Jadie DeLange topped the leader board with three assisted blocks on the road
- At home, Dwight led the team with 13 kills as she hit .500 percent in the match
