TWO ROAD MATCHES ON DECK FOR TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

Mitchell, S.D. – RV Dakota Wesleyan volleyball is back on the road for two matches this week. Wilber and company will travel to Orange City, Iowa tomorrow, to take on No. 9 Northwestern. Then to serve up the month of October, the Tigers will take on Morningside in Sioux City, Iowa, on Saturday.

 

ABOUT THE TIGERS

  • Dakota Wesleyan hits the road with records of 15-1 overall, 5-0 in the conference, and a perfect 4-0 on the road.
  • The Tigers are averaging 14.15 kills per set with a .251 hitting percentage.
  • Averaging 4.33 kills per set with a .368 hitting percentage is Ady Dwight to lead DWU volleyball.
  • Dakota Wesleyan is notching a mean of 17.69 digs per set, led by Hanna Reiff with an average of 5.58 digs per set.
  • As a team, the Tigers have 709 total assists this season, led by Madeline Else notching 617 assists of her own.

ABOUT THE MUSTANGS

  • Morningside University will face off against Briar Cliff on Wednesday before taking on the Tigers this weekend.
  • The Mustangs are 10-11 overall, 1-5 in league play, and 1-4 at home this season.
  • Morningside is clipping 11.78 kills per set average, along with a .162 hitting percentage.
  • Sydney Marlow leads the Mustangs averaging 2.78 kills per set.
  • Claire Wilson tops Morningside with a hitting percentage of .270 to lead the team
