DWIGHT TABBED WITH FIRST-TEAM ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT HONORS
Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan volleyball extends their historic season with a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District award this morning. Sophomore middle blocker Ady Dwight was named to the NAIA district three first-team list; for her academic excellence. The Langford, S.D. native, is a nursing major at Dakota Wesleyan and has boasted a 4.00 GPA in the classroom earning her first-team All-District honors. On the court, the Langford native leads the team with 442 kills and a .315 hitting percentage. Dwight has proven to be an asset on the court for Coach Wilber and her team, compiling 121 total blocks this year. The Tigers will host their first-ever NAIA Women's Volleyball Championship Opening Round game on Saturday, November 20 at 6 p.m. from The Worlds Only Corn Palace in Mitchell, S.D..
