Tiger men and women cross country teams compete at Briar Cliff Invite

MCCOOK LAKE, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams were in action at the Briar Cliff University Invite on Saturday at the Adams Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, S.D.
For the DWU men, junior Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.) took home a 17th-place finish. Sophomore Bryce Blank (Rapid City, S.D.) finish in 81st place with a time of 28:12.86. The DWU men finished 12-of-14 teams at the event.
On the women's side, McKenna Rogers (Saint Michael, Minn.) finished in 60th place, while Shailhyn Schweigert (Burke, S.D.) recorded an 87th-place finish. The DWU women 13-of-15 teams.
The Tigers are back in action at the Mount Marty Invite on Oct. 22 in Yankton, S.D.
