Rogers, Panec finish strong at Dordt Invite

Sophomore McKenna Rogers (Saint Michael, Minn.) finished in her best time of the season as she came in seventh place in a time of 19:29.92. The finish was the second-best finish in cross country in her career.
Kelsie King (Mission Viejo, Calif.) added a 74th-place finish as she finished in 22:26.34 and freshman Macey Bohl (Garretson, S.D.) took 82nd.
For senior Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.), he recorded his first top-five finish of the 2017 season. He finished in fifth place with a time of 26:27.71.
Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.) and Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.) came in 38th and 39th, respectively for the Tigers. Freshman Brendan Langbehn (Worthing, S.D.) added a 42nd-place finish in his second collegiate meet for DWU.
The Tigers are in action on Sept. 23 at the Roy Griak Invite in St. Paul, Minn.
