But the entire Dakota Wesleyan University baseball and softball teams had to endure this emotion as it became a reality when the NAIA canceled all spring sports in early March due to COVID-19.

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team kicked off the Tucson Invitational with non-conference losses against Briar Cliff University, Dordt University and NCAA Division II Southwest Minnesota State University, before picking up back-to-back wins against Waldorf College in Tucson, Ariz.

Baseball splits games at U.S. Bank Stadium

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team hit the road for a unique non-conference doubleheader with Mayville State University, as they split the contests. DWU fell 4-3 in the first game and won 2-0 in the second game. Both games took place inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday morning at 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. in Minneapolis, Minn.

SALINA, Kan. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team opened its’ 2020 campaign against Kansas Wesleyan University and finished the weekend 1-2 versus the Coyotes on Saturday and Sunday in Salina, Kan.

DWU set to introduce six members into Athletic Hall of Fame

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University athletic department is set to induct six of its’ newest members into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Those individuals include Raven (Morgan) Ellwein (’00), Robert Stockton (’05), Justin “Bubba” Slaba (‘12), Chad Johnson (’03), Matthew Hein (’04) and Dan and Diane DesLauriers (Contributors).
