Wagner honored as 2020 NFF Hampshire Honor Society member

MITCHELL, S.D. – Senior Dakota Wesleyan University football linebacker Tyler Wagner (Webster, S.D.) was named one of 1,432 members of the National Football Foundation’s (NFF) list of 2020 Hampshire Honor Society members, it was announced by the NFF on Wednesday.

DWU football: “Big Guys with Big Hearts”

MITCHELL, S.D. - For Floyd Korzan, life at age 10 looked a lot different than most. After his father, Matt, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, Floyd soon found himself inside the walls of a hospital as his father underwent treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Instead of weekly spelling lists and vocabulary words, Floyd began learning what words like “hospice” and “chemotherapy” meant.

DWU set to introduce six members into Athletic Hall of Fame

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University athletic department is set to induct six of its’ newest members into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Those individuals include Raven (Morgan) Ellwein (’00), Robert Stockton (’05), Justin “Bubba” Slaba (‘12), Chad Johnson (’03), Matthew Hein (’04) and Dan and Diane DesLauriers (Contributors).

Tigers ink 46 signees for 2020 season

MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University football and head coach Ross Cimpl announced 46 signees to the 2020 class on Wednesday. Of the 46 newest Tigers, 19 of them reign from South Dakota, eight from California, four from Idaho, three from Wyoming, three from Nebraska, two from Washington, two from Missouri and one from Florida, Texas, Wisconsin, Utah and Minnesota.

Neugebauer highlights DWU football All-GPAC Team

MITCHELL, S.D. – Mitchell native Spencer Neugebauer led the way for the Dakota Wesleyan University football team as he was named to the All-Conference Team for special teams and receiver, as DWU finished with six All-Conference players, the Great Plains Athletic Conference announced Tuesday.
