Bio

Matthew Rosado assumes his position as head coach of cross country and track and field in January 2022. Rosado comes to Dakota Wesleyan after holding a head coaching position for men's and women's cross country and track and field at Roosevelt University.  Prior to that, he served as head coach and assistant coach for men's and women's cross country and track and field at Calumet College of St. Joseph from 2018 through 2020.  At the NAIA level, he has coached two men's cross-country national qualifiers, one women's cross-country national qualifier, 20 school records, eight conference champions, four national qualifying marks and three outdoor All-Americans.

Rosado comes to Tiger athletics with an additional five years' coaching experience at the high school level where he held two assistant coaching stints working with sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers, and cross-country runners at East Chicago Central and Bishop Noll Institute. He found  success at the high school level, producing six all-conference performers, three conference championships, 16 women's school records, and 15 men's school records.
