General: Hanisch, the Hartford, S.D. native, comes to DWU with experience at the infield.

High School: He started two years for the West Central High School Trojans … his junior season he had a .387 BA, which led the team … named All-League in 2016 and was a two-time letter winner … member of the Humboldt baseball club where they were state runner-ups in 2016 … named to the ‘A’ Honor Roll every semester and to the Academic All-State team … played football during his junior year.

Personal: Born Nov. 19, 1998 … son of Charles and Schimayne Hanisch.
