General: Puetz comes to DWU from Volga, S.D. He brings experience to the first base position where he played for the Sioux Valley High School Cossacks.

High School: He made the All-State and All-Region teams his sophomore year, and the All-Region team his junior year … batting average of .489, 4 HR, 12 singles, five doubles and one triple, 17 RBIs, eight walks, one strikeout, HBP five times, OBP .603, OPS 1.515 and SLG .911 … played for the Post 114 for three years with a batting average of .472, OBP .515, 35 hits, 19 singles, eight doubles and eight homeruns … lettered in football three years, basketball four years and golf twice … member of the Honor Roll twice.

Personal: Born March 18, 1999 … son of Ron and Amy Puetz … will major in athletic training and minor in elementary education.
