General: Williams, a four-year starter for the Vermillion High School Tanagers, joins the Tiger family from Vermillion, S.D.

High School: His junior year, he averaged 13.2 points per game, six rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game and shot 90 percent from the free-throw line … named First Team All-Conference, and Second Team All-State … voted MVP and team captain three years … led the Tanagers to a 17-6 record his junior year … member of the golf team for four years, and named MVP and team captain each of those years … first in his class with a 4.0 GPA.

Personal: Born Oct. 26, 1998 … son of David and Suzanne Williams … will major in business administration.
