General: The 6-foot-5 forward joins the DWU basketball team from Balaton, Minn.

High School: Smith averaged 12.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, shot 46 percent and collected 41 steals in his sophomore season … during his junior campaign, he averaged 18.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, shot 56 percent and tallied 63 steals … he helped his team to a 25-4 record his junior season … named All-Conference Second Team in 2014-15 and All-Conference First Team in 2015-16 … member of the honor roll and National Honor Society … Spotlight on Scholarship and Student Achiever Award winner … four-year starter for his high school in basketball … also participated in football for four seasons and track three years.
