General: Phelps joins the Tigers cross country and track and field programs from Tea Area High School.

High School: Phelps participated in distance events for the Tea Titans … finished his career as a Titan with a best time of 17:33.51 in cross country on a 5,000 meter-course, with a high placing of 13^th at regions … in track he ran the 3,200-meter run, 1,600-meter run and was a member of the 4X800-meter relay team … his best time in the 3,200-meter run is 11:08, in the 1,600-meter run he ran a 5:12 … Phelps also competed in wrestling for the Titans.

Personal: Born June 13, 1997 … son of Christina Fridrich … plans to major in elementary education.
