General: Hedstrom looks to add depth at the guard position for the Tigers where she played for four years in O’Neill, Neb. 

High School: She attended St. Mary’s High School … three-time letter winner in basketball … sophomore season she averaged 3.5 points per game and shot 28 percent from the field … junior year she averaged four points and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 31 percent from the field … senior season had 9.6 points, 2.4 assists, 2.3 rebounds and three steals per game and shot 39 percent from the field … won one basketball championship, two volleyball championships and one in track and a runner-up in basketball and volleyball once … participated on the volleyball team for four seasons … named Class D2 Libero First Team and Honorable Mention from the Lincoln Journal Star … honorable mention from Niobrara Valley Conference … Academic All-State member her senior year … Honor Roll for three years and named Principle’s Honor Roll her senior year … awarded a letter in track and field four years. 

Personal: Born May 4, 1999 … daughter of James and Lisa Hedstrom … plans to major in nursing while at DWU.
