Bio

General: Castaneda comes to DWU from Bloomfield, Neb. She brings experience to the Tigers from the forward position where she was a key asset for the Bees for four years.

High School: She proved to be a key asset for her high school as she earned All-Conference and All-State honors twice, and was voted player of the week twice … Castaneda averaged a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds per game, while shooting 56 percent from the field her junior year … led the Bees to a 15-9 record and a trip to the sub-district finals … member of the honor roll and National Honor Society.

Personal: Born March 10, 1999 … daughter of Alex and Alice Castaneda.
