Bio

Hastings College ’14

Amanda Knoll is entering her second season as an assistant to head coach Clayson Glasgow with the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s soccer team in 2016. Prior to coming to DWU she was an assistant coach for the Mitchell High boys’ soccer team.

Knoll graduated from Hasting College in the fall of 2014 with a Bachelors of Art in Exercise Science and minor in athletic training, personal training and coaching. Knoll started and played all four years of her collegiate career for Hastings. In her freshman season, Hastings was the NAIA national runner-up, while the Broncos returned to nationals in Knoll’s sophomore and senior seasons. Capped her senior season off with 21 goals in 21 games, finished with an overall record 64-20-6 and a Great Plains Athletic Conference record of 39-1-2.

Knoll is from Lincoln, Neb. and graduated high school from Lincoln East. At Lincoln East she was a four-year starter. She was a two time First-Team All-State.  Also, competed in the Shrine Bowl.

Currently Knoll resides in Platte, S.D. with her husband Duke.
