General: Hanson, is a local distance recruit for the Tigers, she comes from Hanson High School ... she has had plenty of success during her high school years in both cross country and track. 

High School: Hanson finished the 2012 State 'B' Cross Country meet in the top-25 ... a five-time state cross country qualifier ... qualified for the State 'B' Track meet three times, with a second-place finish in the 3200-meter relay in 2015 ... also, participated in cheer at Hanson High School ... named to the Academic All-State for cheerleading and earned the choral leadership award ... a member of the school play and oral interpt and a three-year student-council member ... member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born June 24, 1997 ... daughter of Jason and Rita Hanson ... an elementary education major.
