Bio

General: Begins her junior season and looks to improve on two successful seasons with DWU.

Sophomore (2016-17): At the Mount Marty Outdoor Invite, she took ninth in the hammer throw, 13^th in the shotput and 16^th in the discus throw … tallied a 10^th-place finish in the weight throw with a toss of 40-6.75 feet at the Dennis Young Classic.

Freshman (2016): At the Dordt Invitational during the outdoor season, she finished 13^th in the hammer throw and 12^th in the shotput at 10.54 meters … finished the 2016 season at the Zach Kindler Wildcat Open with finishes of 15^th in the hammer throw, 13^th in the discus and 11^th in the shotput at 10.2 meters.

High School: Participated in track and field during high school … had a personal best of 33-feet three inches in shot put during the indoor track season … finished the indoor season with a sevent-place finish at the state meet.

Personal: Born on June 12, 1997 … daughter of William and Stephenie Hunter … an elementary education major.
