General: Will be counted on as a leader in her final season for DWU … has made strides in each year and looks to finish strong.

Junior (2016-17): Recorded multiple top-10 finishes … best finish came at the Dennis Young Classic in the 800-meter run in 2:33.94 … at the GPAC Championships Schweigert took eighth in the 4x800-meter relay.

Sophomore: (2016): Finished ninth at the SDSU DII Invitational in the 4x400-meter race in 4:22.41 … finished ninth at the 2016 GPAC Indoor Championships in the 4x800-meter run with a time of 10:26.95 … best finish of the season came at the Red Raider Open as she came in fifth in the 4x800-meter race in 10:05.75.

Freshman (2015): Had a third-place finish in the 600-meter run in a time of 1:51.28.  

High School: Competed in both cross country and track during high school … ran a personal best 4K in 16:36.02, 3,200-meter in 12:28, 1,600-meter in 5:39 and 800-meter in 2:30 … also participated in volleyball, basketball and softball.

Personal: Born on Feb. 1, 1996 … daughter of Blake and Shannyn Schweigert … a digital media and design major.
